Breakfast & Mimosas at Versailles

Chateau Elan - Braselton, GA;

First morning waking up here and even though I am not normally a breakfast girl, the venue was just too beautiful not to grab a seat, some good food, and a mimosa (ok 2 mimosas ;-)).

From this angle, you will look directly down over the dining facility. I captured these photos so you can see how the tables and seating is spaced. Straight ahead is a mirrored bar with televisions on each side. I sat at the high top tables that were equipped with USB and power outlets (never can remember to charge the ipad at night) that were a few feet away from the actual bar seating. Because it was pretty empty, I still could manage to watch my morning news updates and be comfortable at the same time.

I'm pretty sure that this space also offers the option of a buffet however due to restrictions for COVID, the only option was to order from a menu.

I think the text is pretty visible but in case it's not, the full menu as of 1/25/21 for Versailles is linked here. Keep reading to get the details on the b-fast!

I'm a southern girl - so even though I am a skeptic when it comes to grits other than my Grandmother's, I ventured out and tried their version anyway. It was actually pretty good.

It was loaded with bacon, onions, and melted cheese. I spruced it up with a little salt & pepper, and that did the trick. It was very tasty, filling, and for $14 (considering resort pricing), I thought it was well worth the money. Completely satisfied!
