Chateau Elan Winery & Resort

Braselton, GA:

Started off 2021 with the most dreamy bucket list place in the state of Georgia. (IMO)

This winery and resort has been on my list for ages and this year, I finally got the chance to visit and it was absolutely amazing!

I’m going to split this post and include links because there are just too many great things to say about this place so I have written other blog updates where appropriate which are linked at the end. We experience alot but still didn't manage to explore the property in full.

So let’s get started with the resort itself!

To start, not only was check-in an absolute breeze, it came equipped with a welcome glass of Champs (swoon) and the hostess offered us complimentary parking. The moment you enter through the lobby doors, you are greeted with a view that is so immaculate, it just makes you want to see more. Multiple cozy fireplaces and so many grand seating areas, it was tough to not want to grab a chair, a cocktail, kick your feet up and lay! It is seriously like that!

We arrived late so we were eager to get to our room - no exploring the property just yet. We reserved the Deluxe King at the Chateau Elan Inn and was very pleased with the end result. The room was pretty spacious at about 400 sq feet, well decorated, equipped a high back chair + foot stool, a desk area, bar (no mini’s though), refrigerator, decent closet space and a storage vanity for clothing - yes, I unpack my suitcase when I travel! All of this and though closed, we were right over the pool which illuminated beautifully at night.

On our first night, we managed to snag a seat around the fire pit outside and it was the coziest! It was the perfect amenity to counter the night’s cold weather and was by far one of best things I enjoyed on the property grounds. Honey smoked a cigar and we both had to-go cocktails (served by one of the best bar tenders I might add) all snug & warm.

As you can see from just a few snaps, this property boasts beauty around every corner and we didn't even get to explore its entirety. All the more reason to go back in just a few short months. :-)

If you live in the southeast and can get here after a few hours of drive time (ours was ~3 hours), then Chateau Elan Winery & Resort is definitely a venue to visit. I can assure you, you won't be disappointed. Take a moment to read what others have to say by clicking the link below!

While we were there, of course we couldn't pass on the activities or the FOOD so I am linking the other blog posts below where I share details of our experiences for this mini-vacay!
