Pelzer, SC
One of our favorite wineries did a major upgrade to their facility and we were blown away. It's been a few years since we visited and boy were we in for a surprise when we landed back in Pelzer. We had the chance to walk the new grounds and even said hello to our old friend Pinot! Years ago, Pinot and Thomas became good friends. This time around he was so big Thomas could only spend a good 30 secs with him before we had to dip. 🤣
We took in a tasting - a sweet deal for $20 pp. It came with 2 souvenir glasses and several rounds of wine variations. So much fun! Let's just say someone's deep thoughts are just well ummm - never mind!
After our tasting, we grabbed a glass from the bar and took a stroll around the property. We sat outside on the deck, walked to see the wine glass fountain and the goats. Let's just say our time spent near them was short-lived also. 🤣
All in all we had theee best time here and snagged 6 bottles of their wine! A quick drive through the country and a few back roads, got us a seriously great experience at a wonderful and might I add, local winery. You must pay them a visit. After a few hours, we drove into Greenville and stopped in on Main Street. Within 5 minutes, we stumbled on The Lost Cajun. Honey has been crying for some good fried fish and this place had just what he was looking for.
He had the fish and shrimp platter. I had the crab boil (minus the egg). We both wanted to try something new so we settled on GATOR BITES!! First off - I can't even believe Thomas tried these but He did and they were so good!! Yum!
After eating all this food, we headed to get some sort of activity in besides eating and drinking. 😊 We landed at TopGolf Greenville. The wait there was 45 minutes but we enjoyed the new views (we never visited this location before) and watched others play. Once seated, we swung the rest of the evening away. Fun times!
