Miami Food Picks

Miami, Florida

Orange Blossom

I already had this place flagged so when one of the events was in walking distance, we had to stop into Orange Blossom. We sat inside and the food was unbelievable. We took advantage of the prix fixe menu which came with an appetizer, entree, & dessert for $42/pp.

Such a treat. It's here where I had the best Burrata EVER!! Paired with arugula, fresh tomatoes, with some added black pepper, made for a simple but pleasing pre-entree app.

We also had meatballs and they were equally delicious.

For dinner, I had the Sea Bass and my dinner date had the Strip Steak with Fries. I absolutely loved my dish but my date quickly discovered in this moment, his preference for Ribeyes. 😂

For dessert, a Tiramisu was the pick. Very good but very rich so if you are not into the taste of coffee inspired desserts, skip it. As for me, I couldn't get enough.

C Food Shack

Located in the Lincoln Eatery, we searched high and low for the best fried seafood in Miami. Many of the hits, landed us here. We hopped in an Uber and made our way to C Food Shack. The Lincoln Eatery is kinda like a food court of sorts with several dining options + bars. The seating was plentiful and so was the food. Completely blown away, I don't think I've had fried seafood this good. Each bite was a burst of flavor. Our box came with fried lobster, fish, shrimp, & fries.

Malibu Farm

After a quick ride back to the room, we just couldn't carry this food anymore in the Miami heat, we decided to nap and get ready for dinner, lol!! We didn't go far and stayed on the property to check out Malibu Farm. With overlooks of the Atlantic, we had farm to table food prepared just right for the night. We had the grass fed burger and babe even kept the havarti cheese 😆. We also ordered the lamb chops with mashed potatoes and veggies. Both were well prepared and tasted great.

Nobu Miami

Ordered breakfast in bed but landed at Nobu Miami for lunch. The full venue opens later in the evening but we ordered from a special menu at the bar which featured items from Nobu. We had the spicy chicken wings and though bigger in size than my liking, they were still very tasty and were fried + sauced up nicely. Even though these wings were good, I'm still waiting to get my sushi fix from Nobu.

Pizza & Burger

Eden Roc was limited in dining but we were right next to the Fontainebleau which hosted several options that were on my list. Of course we tried to bypass reservations and even though we had some late options, we opted for first available which landed us at Pizza & Burger. A quick trek next door + a 30 minute wait = a good late night dinner. On the bottom floor beneath the lobby, this place was bigger than expected & the menu choices were varied. I didn't get my steak fix since arrival and since this was the last night, I tried the Skirt Steak with Fries. Don't get me wrong, it was a nice dish but I also quickly discovered that this cut is just not one of my favorites. Either way, still well prepared, plated, and accompanied so no foul on the restaurant, just not my style of steak.

That about sums it up except for our airport lunch but we are adding those details to a separate post on our favorite places we have visited while passing through different airports. Keep on the lookout for it!
